Spice Trip Around the World

Donna Sharp shows us just how stunning this simple traditional quilt pattern can be. This quilt begins in the center with pale to deep golden pieces and radiates out to shades fo ginger, cinnamon and deep sage in a wonderful blend of solid and print fabrics. It is finished with a saw-toothed edge and a hand attached binding. The reverse is done in a coodinating sage, wheat and cinnamon paisley print. The hand quilting adds a secondary visual effect that adds richness and depth.
