Pine Cone Log Cabin

Pine Cone Log Cabin by Donna Sharp-Richly embroidered, dimensional pine cones are placed on backgrounds made from traditional "log cabin" pattern pieces in warm wheat with deep green and burgundy corners. The field of the quilt is then framed by three straight borders and another made of finely pieced "log cabin" squares in the same greens and burgundy. The edge is then finished with matching prairie points. The reverse is done in a subtly printed coordinating fabric.
